Trish O’Hare
Trish O’Hare is Executive Director and Publisher of Gemma Open Door. She has held senior positions in the global content industry across professional, trade, and electronic publishing as well as on-line learning, and founded GemmaMedia in 2008. Trish has served as a volunteer teacher at Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women in Boston, and St. Mark’s. Her classroom experience with low-literacy and ESOL students informs and guides the program.

Pam Boiros

Luz M. Diaz
Luz M. Diaz is an Adult Basic Education professional who is passionate about adult literacy and improving access to ABE materials. With more than 10 years’ experience managing innovative educational programs for adult learners, she is dedicated to helping learners amplify their voices and share their stories. Her background in Professional Development makes her a fierce advocate for tutors and instructors. Luz is keenly focused on finding new ways to reach students through technology, advising on the Digital Privacy Data Literacy Project in collaboration with the Open Technology Institute.

Paul Foster
A proven leader in content development and curation, Paul Foster has nearly 30 years of executive experience in strategic & financial planning, alliances & acquisitions, and new product & business development. He held executive positions at Jossey Bass Publishers and Wiley and started his publishing career with Houghton Mifflin. Paul’s philanthropic interests include literacy and education, animal welfare, and the environment. He volunteers for the Marine Mammal Center and is actively involved in marine mammal response and rescue on the Pacific coast.

Mike Hamlin
Mike Hamlin is Shareholder at LCW CPAs, Inc., working with closely held businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations for over 20 years. His practice includes audits, reviews, compilations, tax preparation, compliance and related planning, as well as other value-added business advisory services. Mike serves on several nonprofit boards, from residential housing for folks with developmental challenges to local youth sports to adult and young adult literacy.
